Houska Castle was built by the noble family of Dubá. Sometime around 1590 it was rebuilt in the Renaissance style. The robust structure has a rectangular ground plan, with a closed central yard, and still has the original Gothic windows. The roof is completed with a little lookout tower. The chapel offers unique wall paintings from the 14th.
